Meet Laura – CPR & First Aid Instructor

Laura is a Licensed Practical Nurse who has worked in pediatrics since 2008. From her time at the Alberta Children's Hospital to years as a Pediatric Home Care Case Manager, she’s developed a deep passion for both medical care and teaching.

Over the past 8+ years, Laura has certified hundreds of Calgarians in CPR and First Aid. As an Experienced Instructor with Heart & Stroke and Red Cross — she brings both clinical insight and calm, confidence-building instruction to every course.

What sets her apart? Real-world experience, engaging scenarios, and her ability to make even serious topics feel approachable (yes, humour is involved!). She’s known for her practical teaching style, personalized feedback, and yes — that lovely British accent we all adore.
